Health & Safety
Important:
My creations are not suitable for children because they are not intended for them. They are handcrafted creations with parts that can be swallowed or torn. It will therefore be your responsibility if you choose to offer them to a child under 13 years old (according to European law, you cannot sell a “toy” without strict, expensive and precise regulations ). My plushies are not made to be handled by children, I do not sell toys, they are far too fragile, see them as art and not “toys”. You can refer to my terms of use on this subject. Know that there are small creators specialized in creations for children if necessary.
I just want to make them strong enough to go on a bed, but I don't guarantee their longevity when subjected to intense crushing and stretching conditions.
In France, a small package or a bubble letter format can take between 1 day and a week to arrive. If you make a mistake on the address, the package may take time to get back to me, in which case I can resend it at your expense . (If it is my fault I will cover the price).
Allergies:
I have cats that wander through the workshop. The house doesn't smell like cigarettes. The hooks may not be stainless steel if they are colored.
Materials:
Minky: A fabric made of synthetic material (polyester, do not heat), often elastic and very soft. I use several varieties, including a shorter one and a longer one. These fabrics are rarely made in France; they come from various sources around the world (like Shannon from the US, Etsy, Stoffhummel).
Prints: Aside from minky, I often use classic cotton. Much of this cotton is found through independent designers like Lixy-Illustration or on sites like Spoonflower, French haberdasheries like Rascol, etc.
Threads: I use all kinds of sewing threads and Madeira embroidery threads (high-quality threads made in Germany). Materials: Viscose, polyester.
Safety Eyes: These are standard plastic eyes that secure inside the plush toy, available in various countries.
Other: I generally use standard stuffing typical of plush toys. I may occasionally use "polly pellets," plastic microbeads that serve as different fillings depending on the area of the plush.

ENGLISH VERSION
My older children are not suitable for small children.
Materials commonly used (with a minimum waste policy):
Minky: Minky is a synthetic fabric commonly used for plushies due to its softness and stretchyness. There's a few types, like Shannon, Luxe and I tend to use every kind I can get around the world. I currently mainly focus on short (1.5) and long pile (5mm) fabric.
Prints: Cotton fabrics from various shops, mainly spoonflower. Those can be limited edition if I find them in a local shop.
Threads: Various sewing threads and Madeira high quality embroidery threads.
Eyes: Plastic safety eyes that secure the back inside a plushie.
Other: Plastic polypellets, aka mini beads used to stuff some parts of some plushies. Polyester stuffing made for plushies. Brother sewing and embroidery machines, along with tools (stabilizer for embroidery, etc).
Sources: Stoffhummel, Hopen fabric shop (ali), MaPetiteMercerie, Rascol, Aliexpress for small things (metalic keyrings, satin ribbons, paper washitape or decorative plastic beads), Mondial Tissus, Shannon, Etsy, Spoonflower, CoudreEtBroder.

Plush care instructions
I do not recommend washing a plush filled with stuffing in general. You can wipe the fabric with a wet cloth but cleaning and drying a plush can damage it or change the shape. If you must wash it pleasure look into instructions for minky made plushies. I also recommend the use of a lint roller.
My home is smoke free but I do have pets (in case of allergies, please let me know so I can sanitize and work with gloves).
I recommend my plushies not to be tugged on too hard.
